Five Best Fall Activities

I enjoy all the seasons for different reasons. And sometimes those reasons change each year. This year, with a new baby and two other kiddos, simple is best. So here are some of the activities I'm enjoying most this fall.

1. Watching movies

2. Drinking hot chocolate, hot coffee, or pretty much anything warm

3. Curling up with a good book, or even a fun game (sometimes those silly apps you can get on your Ipad or whatever device you use if you have one)

4. Driving to see the change of leaves

5. Baking

We're all at different places in our lives and enjoy different activities. I'd love to hear some of your favorites. Don't forget, leaving a comment today enters you to win my monthly giveaway. This time it's a Christmas basket.

***For all you writers, I've posted some tips on how to hook your reader over at The Writer's Alley today.

I love curling up in my comfy armchair and toasting my feet in front of the pellet stove. Crunching leaves on one of my walks is fun, too.

Walking in the woods with my family. Love the solitude and peace...well relative peace with the kids, anyway. ;)

We used to go for drives every year to see the leaves. It was a good time with family! :O)

#2 is a big one for me right now. In fact, yesterday I had a cup of coffee, a cup of hot chocolate, AND a cup of hot peppermint tea all in one day! LOL! I wasn't planning on the tea, but I had a haircut last night and my stylist had Trader Joe's peppermint-flavored green tea. Oh my word...soooo yummy! I'm dying to get to the store and buy some for myself. :)

I've been enjoying a lot of hot beverages lately, and I broke out my Sudoku game. I'm with you--it's nice to just enjoy simple things! Have a fun weekend!
